New features and improvements in 6.06.00, compared to 6.05.00:
- Fewer and shorter breaks in the tracking. The collar gets back on the network sooner after a lost connection and when it changes cell on the 4G IoT network.
- The first position after switching on arrives sooner, especially on 2G and when 4G IoT is selected as the network type.
- Fewer restarts of the collar.
- More reliable empty-battery detection: the collar no longer switches off because of a single low voltage reading.
- The WeHunt app does not yet show which network type is selected for the collar, nor which network the collar is using. When you change the network type, the choice is still saved in the collar.
- The collar downloads and installs new firmware automatically; the update is distributed to Artemis users in stages over the coming weeks.
- The update is installed when the collar is started off the charger. Normal use is enough: take the collar off the charger and switch it on, hunt as usual, switch it off and charge it at home, and switch it on again the next morning.
