Where are the LED lights located on the Artemis device?

The Artemis device has three different LED indicators, shown in the image above:

  • Telecommunication LED
  • Basic operation LED
  • Charging LED


Each LED shows different information depending on its color and blinking pattern.

The LED lights can also all light up at the same time (Blue LED)


What does the telecommunication LED (LED 1) mean on the Artemis device?

The telecommunication LED shows the status of the mobile network connection.

  • If the telecommunication LED flashes red repeatedly, it indicates a connection failure.
  • If the SIM is active and uptime is OK and the problem continues, contact support or service.


What does the basic operation LED (LED 2) mean during startup on the Artemis device?

During startup, the basic operation LED indicates battery level and startup progress.

  • Yellow light only means the battery is completely discharged.
  • Green and red lights briefly, then nothing, means the battery is almost discharged.
  • Yellow, green, and yellow flashing means the device is turning on and searching for satellites and network.
  • Green flashing means the device is ready for use.


What does the basic operation LED (LED 2) mean during normal operation?

During normal operation, the basic operation LED shows connection status.

  • Green and yellow flashing means the device is searching for a data connection.
  • Yellow flashing means the device is searching for satellites.
  • Green and yellow flashing together means the device is searching for both data and satellite connections.
  • Green flashing means everything is OK and the device is working normally.


What does the basic operation LED (LED 2) mean when shutting down the Artemis device?

When shutting down, the red LED lights up multiple times.

Wait until the indicator light stays on continuously, then release the power button.

The device is completely turned off when the indicator light shuts down.


What does the charging LED (LED 3) mean when charging the Artemis device?

The charging LED shows the battery charging status.

  • Green and yellow flashing means the device is charging.
  • Green light means the battery is almost full.


What does it mean if the charging LED shows red flashes on the Artemis device?

Red flashing on the charging LED indicates a charging failure.

Possible reasons include:

  • The battery is too cold. Bring the device to room temperature and try charging again.
  • Poor contact. Make sure the charging cable is intact and properly connected.
  • Charger power output is too weak. Try another charger.
  • Battery failure.


What does it mean when all indicator LEDs light up at the same time on the Artemis device?

When all indicator LEDs light up at the same time, the device is recording a voice clip. (Blue LED)


What should I do if the Artemis device does not start charging?

Follow these steps to recover charging:

  • Plug in the charger. If no indicator lights turn on, wait at least 3 hours.
  • Disconnect the charger and wait more than 2 minutes.
  • Reconnect the charger and check if the normal charging sequence starts.
  • If charging starts, let the device charge fully.
  • If charging does not start, repeat the process. Several recovery cycles may be required.
