This update changes the operating mode of the connection button (lower button). Avius devices now use only Bluetooth Low Energy, and it is no longer possible to switch to Bluetooth Classic.
To update the Avius VHF receiver from the app, follow these steps:
Insert a charged battery into the VHF receiver and turn the device on.
Open the app main menu and select Devices.
Select the VHF receiver and choose Firmware update.
Enter the security code when prompted.
The app downloads the firmware update and sends it to the receiver. The green and blue LEDs on the receiver will blink simultaneously during the update.
When the update is complete, the receiver’s LEDs will blink normally and the device will reconnect to the app via Bluetooth.
