Dog Safety lets you attach a visible safety note to your dog on the map — for example if your dog is lost and you want other hunters to be able to contact you. As part of this, you can choose to share your phone number. Here's how:
- Open the left-hand menu in the app (three lines at the top left).
- Go to Dogs.
- Select your dog.
- Go to Settings.
- At the bottom you'll find Dog Safety — turn it on.
- Under that option you can also add a safety message, and there you can choose to share your phone number.
Once turned on, other hunters who see your dog on the map will be able to view the safety note — and your phone number, if you've chosen to include it.
Note: the "Your phone number" uses whatever phone number is saved in your user profile. If you don't have a phone number added to your profile, nothing will be shown, even with the toggle on.
To check or add your phone number:
- Open the left-hand menu in the app (three lines at the top left).
- Go to Profile (the first option in the menu).
- Check the phone number field to see which number, if any, is currently saved.
- If it's empty or incorrect, tap the field to add or update your number, then save.
Once a number is saved in your profile, the "Your phone number" toggle under Dog Safety will show it in the safety note.
