How do I import an area from Oma riista?

If your hunting area is registered in Oma riista, you can bring it into WeHunt with its area code instead of drawing it. This works both in WeHunt Web and in the app.

Follow the instructions below to import an area from Oma riista:

1. Open wehuntapp.com and sign in
2. Click on Teams and select your team
3. Open the Map tab
4. Click on Edit map
5. Click on Import in the top right corner
6. Choose Oma riista
7. Type your area code

The area is fetched and added to your map.

If the code is not found

WeHunt tells you clearly when no area matches the code.

1. Check the code in Oma riista itself — the codes are easy to mistype
2. Try the import again
3. If the code is correct in Oma riista and still does not work, contact our support team and include the code

Finnish hunters: Reviiri works too

The same Import menu has a Reviiri option, which asks you to sign in to Reviiri to bring your boundary across.
