Hunting grounds, hunts and documents all belong to a team, so most things in WeHunt Web start there.
Follow the instructions below to join a team:
- Open wehuntapp.com and sign in
- Click on Teams
- Click on Join team
- Type the join code you were given by someone in the team
To start a team of your own, click on New team instead.
Inside a team you will find the tabs Overview, Hunts, Map, Members, Documents, Pictures and Settings.
The join code
It is shown under Join code on the team's Overview, and again on the Members tab. Share it with hunters you want to invite — they enter it in the WeHunt app to join. You can copy the code, or delete it so nobody new can join.
The roles
- Owner — the person who created the team
- Administrator — can edit the hunting ground map, add and remove members, and change roles
- Member – can edit — can edit the hunting ground map
- Member – view only — can see all hunts, reports, pictures and the shared game area lines and maps
All members, whatever their role, can see the team's hunts, reports, pictures and maps. The roles decide who can change things.
Deleting a team asks you to type a confirmation first, because it cannot be undone. Only the owner can do it.
A button I expected is missing
This is nearly always your role rather than a fault. WeHunt hides what your role does not allow.
- Open your team
- Open the Members tab
- Check which role you have — it is shown next to your name
- If you need more rights, ask the team's owner or an administrator to change your role
