What do the different GPS icons on the map mean?

Paw of the colour you selected – the GPS has coverage and shows the latest position on the map.

Grey paw – the GPS lacks coverage and shows the position where the device last had coverage.

Dog with exclamation mark – when the GPS remains stationary within a diameter of 15 metres for 30 seconds, the symbol changes to a dog with an exclamation mark to indicate pointing. However, this function does not actually indicate pointing, but only that the dog has stopped.
