Plan a hunt on your computer, invite your team and keep track of who is coming.
Follow the instructions below to plan a hunt:
- Open wehuntapp.com and sign in
- Click on Hunts
- Click on Plan hunt — or click a date in the calendar, and that date is filled in for you
- Work through the six steps of the planner
The six steps
- Basics — which team the hunt belongs to, a name for it, and the start and end date and time. The team and the start date are required; the rest is optional.
- Leaders — who is in charge
- Participants — who takes part
- Invitation — the message your team receives, and any documents that go with it
- Drives — the drives in order, each with its own area and its own stands
- Game — the species the team may harvest, and which classes count
You can move between the steps at any time by clicking them along the bottom of the planner. A mark on a step means something required is still missing there.
Drives and stands
Open a drive to set its area and its stands. A drive covers the whole hunting ground unless you pick a sub-area for it.
The stands you choose are the stand and tower pins that are already on your hunting-ground map. Click a pin on the map to add it to the drive, then assign a hunter to it. If you leave the selection empty, every stand in that area is included, with nobody assigned.
If your map has no stands on it yet, place them in the map editor first — see How do I edit my hunting ground in WeHunt Web?
Huntable game
Tick a species, and you can then choose which classes count — all of them, or only some. For each one you can set a limit, or tick No limit.
Two buttons that do different things
- Save draft saves your work and tells nobody.
- Save & send invitations saves the hunt and sends the invitations out.
If the hunt is not finished, or you are not ready for the team to hear about it, use Save draft. Your drafts are listed under Drafts on the hunts page, and you can discard one from there.
Once the invitations are out you can see who has accepted and who has declined.
