Your Subscriptions in Tracker and WeHunt

As Tracker winds down and joins WeHunt under one app, some hunters in Norway and Sweden currently pay for subscriptions in both. This page explains how we're handling that — and how to opt out if you'd rather take care of it yourself.

This is a service migration and account/subscription consolidation, not a change to what you pay or what you get.

Does this affect you?

It does if you live in Norway or Sweden (or any other country outside of Finland) and you have:

  • A Tracker subscription (the app subscription, the device subscription, or both), and
  • A paid WeHunt subscription (Standard, Premium, or GPS Max)

If you only have a subscription in Tracker, you will see a name change of that subscription. You do not have to take any action — everything will happen automatically.

If you only have a subscription in WeHunt, nothing will change and no action is needed from you.

What will happen

We need you to sign in to the new WeHunt app and link your Tracker and WeHunt accounts before we can detect any overlap. Until that's done, we can't see what subscriptions you have across both apps. If you haven't done this yet, follow the steps in How do I import my data from Tracker?

Once you've linked your accounts, here's what happens based on your specific setup.

If you only have Tracker subscriptions
Your Tracker app subscription will be renamed to "WeHunt Premium". If you also have a Tracker device subscription, it'll be renamed to "WeHunt Device Subscription." Same price, same renewal date — only the name changes. Nothing else for you to do.

If you have a Tracker subscription and a WeHunt Premium or Standard subscription
We'll combine the remaining time of both and add it under one subscription going forward. No action needed from you.

If you have a WeHunt GPS Max subscription and a Tracker subscription
We'll cancel the Tracker subscription and add its remaining time onto your GPS Max — since GPS Max already covers everything Premium does, plus your device data. No action needed from you.

Common questions

How can I check what subscriptions I have?
First, make sure to link your accounts in the new WeHunt app by either logging in with your existing WeHunt or Tracker account, or do an import of your data by clicking 'Import' in the main menu.

Then open the new WeHunt app and go to your user profile (found at the top of the main menu). You will see all your currently active subscriptions and/or licenses there.

What if I subscribed under a different email or Apple ID?
Your Tracker and WeHunt accounts are linked when you sign in to the new WeHunt app using your original WeHunt or Tracker account. If you used different email addresses across the two apps, sign in with one of them — this will automatically trigger an import of your user data, including active subscriptions and licenses. Then go to Main menu → Import → and import user data from your other account.

Until you do this account linking, we can't identify you as a double-paying customer.

Will my GPS device stop working?
No. If you have a Tracker device subscription, it gets renamed to "WeHunt Device Subscription" and continues to work the same way. If your device runs under WeHunt GPS Max, nothing changes there either.

Why are you consolidating subscriptions?
We are continuing with only one app, combining the best from Tracker and WeHunt. Users who paid in both apps shouldn't end up paying twice once the move is complete — this consolidation makes sure they don't.

What if I don't link my Tracker and WeHunt accounts?
We won't be able to detect any overlap, so the consolidation won't happen for you. You'll keep both subscriptions until you cancel one yourself. If you for some reason cannot link your accounts, contact our support team and we'll help you.
