After you sync your watch with your phone, follow these steps to start hunting with your smartwatch:
1. Turn on Garmin Connect under your name in the left hand menu of the app
2. Start WeHunt on your Garmin Smartwatch
3. Start a hunt in your phone app.
Once a hunt has been started in your phone app, you can see the positions of hunt participants and dogs, as well as being able to view chat messages and use the compass for navigation.
Because the GPS in your phone turns off when your watch's GPS is active, you can save the phone's battery life when you use a Garmin Smartwatch.
