To update the firmware on your R10 or R10i device, the device SIM card must be active and the device must be connected to the mobile network. This does not apply to Avius.
Follow these steps in the app:
Insert a charged battery into the device. Make sure the (+) and (–) markings match the battery casing.
Turn on the device and wait until the green LED starts blinking once per second.
If the device finds satellites, the green LED will blink once every three seconds.Open the app and open the main menu.
Select Devices and choose your R10 or R10i device.
Select Firmware update and follow the instructions shown in the app.
The device will receive the update command and start the firmware update.
When the update is complete, the device will continue sending location updates normally.
Do not turn off the device or remove the battery during the update.
