Your subscriptions and licenses in WeHunt:
If you've been using the Tracker app, this page explains what happens to your existing app subscription or app license and your device subscription or device license, when Tracker evolves into WeHunt in summer 2026.
We've designed the move so the subscriptions and/or licenses you're already paying for keeps working, and you don't have to do anything when getting started in WeHunt.
If you already have a WeHunt subscription, nothing here applies to you — your subscription continues exactly as it does today.
The short version:
If you have an App subscription (autorenews) in Tracker, it continues as a Premium subscription in WeHunt. Same price you currently pay, same renewal date, same access to features in the app, new name (which we will communicate separately about).
If you have a Device subscription (autorenews) for your Tracker device, it keeps running as before.
If you have an App license (does not autorenew) in Tracker, it's valid until its expiry date. After that, you'll move to a subscription.
If you have a Device license (does not autorenew) in Tracker, it's valid until its expiry date. After that, you'll move to a subscription.
We're not migrating, cancelling, or changing anything on your behalf. When something needs your decision, we'll tell you and give you time.
How devices and subscriptions work in WeHunt:
For your dog tracking device to work in WeHunt, it has to be covered by a subscription. There are two ways to do that:
Premium + Device subscription. Premium covers the app for you; Device subscription covers each individual device. You need both — Premium alone won't make the device work, and a Device subscription alone won't give you the app.
GPS Max. A single subscription that covers both the app and your devices together.
Without one of these, the device won't connect or send positions in the app. This is true for all devices.
Older devices that runs on third party SIM cards can be used in WeHunt with a Premium subscription.
App subscription:
What's happening to my App subscription?
We're renaming it to Premium. You current price stay the same, the renewal date, and what you get all stay the same. You'll see the new name in the app and on your receipts.
Do I need to do anything?
No. Your subscription continues as it is. You'll just see a different name on it.
Will I be charged differently?
No. The price you pay today is the price you'll keep paying.
App license (one-time purchase, does not autorenew):
What's happening to my App license?
It stays valid until its expiry date. Nothing changes between now and then.
What happens when my license expires?
When yours expires, you can buy a Premium subscription — that's the WeHunt version of the Tracker App subscription you may already be familiar with from Tracker.
Do I need to do anything now?
No. Your license is paid up until its expiry date and will keep working until then. When it's getting close to that expiry date, go to our web shop and buy a subscription. Until then, there's nothing to do but to go out and enjoy the hunting.
Device subscription:
What's happening to my Device subscription?
It continues as before. Same price, same renewal, same way of working.
Can I still buy a Device subscription for a new device?
Yes. Device subscription stays available. When you buy a new device, you can just buy another Device subscription for it in our web shop.
Device license (one-time purchase, does not autorenew):
What's happening to my Device license?
It stays valid until its expiry date. Nothing changes between now and then.
What happens when my Device license expires?
When yours expires, you can move to a Device subscription — that keeps your device working the same way it does today, just on a recurring basis instead of a one-time purchase.
Do I need to do anything now?
No. Your license is paid up until its expiry date and your device will keep working until then. We'll remind you when it's getting close to that date, so you have time to buy a Device subscription at the right moment. Until then, there's nothing to do.
What if I have more than one device license?
When a Device license of yours expires, just replace it with a auto-renewing Device subscription. If you have Device licenses that expire on different dates, you will end up with a mix of Device licenses and Device subscriptions up until all your Device licenses have been replaced with Device subscription – that is completely fine and nothing to worry about. The price and functionality is the same for both Devices subscriptions and Device licenses.
What if my App license and Device license expire on different dates?
That's fine. They run independently from each other.
Active and Bark device subscription:
What's happening to my Active and Bark device subscription?
It continues as before. Same price, same renewal, no change in what it does for you.
Can I still buy an Active and Bark device subscription for a new device?
From summer 2026, no. After that point, if you buy a new Active or Bark device, it needs to covered either by a GPS Max or a Device subscription. Already existing Active/Bark device subscriptions will be migrated to the cheaper Device subscription. If you have an Active or Bark device subscription, you will get more info about this.
What if I cancel my Active and Bark device subscription?
You're welcome to cancel any time. Once it expires, your device needs to be covered by a Device subscription or GPS Max to keep working in WeHunt. You'll pick which one in our web shop — there's nothing automatic.
I'm paying for both Tracker and WeHunt — what should I do?
If you've been using both apps and paying for both, your existing subscriptions on each side will continue to work as they do today. We will soon reach out you with info how to handle this.
Choosing between GPS Max and Premium + Device subscription
If you have a dog tracking device — and your one-time device license is expiring, or you're just looking ahead — you've got two paths. Both are good. They suit different situations.
GPS Max
One subscription covers the app and your devices together.
You get a discount for each additional device starting from the second one, so it's typically the better value when you run more than one device.
Single renewal date, single charge, less to keep track of.
One thing to know: because all your devices sit under a single subscription, reducing your device count means downgrading the GPS Max tier rather than cancelling a separate subscription.
You cannot have both GPS Max and a Device subscription active at the same time – you have to choose.
Premium + Device subscription
Each device has its own Device subscription, separate from your Premium subscription.
More flexible if your situation changes — you can cancel a single device's coverage without touching the others, or stagger renewal dates as you add devices over time.
Better option if someone else is paying for one or more of your devices (for example your employer or relative).
One thing to know: there's no volume discount, so multiple devices mean multiple full-price Device subscriptions.
You cannot have both GPS Max and a Device subscription active at the same time – you have to choose.
A simple way to think about it:
If you run one device, the two options are close — pick whichever feels simpler to you. If you run two or more devices and don't mind having everything bundled together, GPS Max is the cheaper option. If you want each device to stand on its own, the Premium + Device subscription bundle gives you that flexibility.
Buying a new device:
I'm getting a new Tracker device. What subscription should I buy?
GPS Max is the simplest option — one subscription covers the app and your devices together. If you'd rather keep them separate, or if you already have another device covered by a Device subscription, you can take Premium for the app and an additional Device subscription for your new device.
Where do I buy?
If you are a dog tracking device owner, you buy subscriptions in our web shop.
