Basic principles
- The customer always has statutory rights (EU/national law)
- Natlink's warranty is additional protection and does not replace statutory liability
What happens if the product is defective?
1. Primarily: repair at a Natlink service point
2. If not possible: replacement at a Natlink service point
3. If neither is possible:
- price reduction, or
- cancellation of the purchase
- The price reduction or cancellation of the purchase is agreed with the seller of the product in question
Warranty periods
Tracking devices
- Device: 2 years
- Battery: 6 months
- Accessories: 1 year
Camera devices
- Device: 1 year
- Battery: 6 months
- Accessories: 1 year
What is needed for warranty processing?
- Proof of purchase OR other evidence (e.g. bank statement)
- Product details + description of the fault
➡️ Without proof of purchase, the warranty claim may be rejected
The warranty does NOT cover
Most common exclusions:
- Normal wear and tear
- Misuse or use contrary to instructions
- Physical damage/moisture
- Opening/repairing the device without authorization
- Incorrect battery or accessory
- Third-party products
Important notes
- The warranty becomes void if the device has been opened or modified
- No warranty for compatibility with other devices
- No liability for indirect damages (e.g. data loss)
Safety (in brief)
- Do not use a damaged device
- Do not leave charging unattended
- Battery: avoid heat and improper use
